- Who may qualify
- Eligible professions include: Tier 1: Doctors of Allopathic or Osteopathic Medicine; Psychiatrists; Hospitalists General Practice Dentists (DDS and DMD) Tier 2: Advanced Practice Registered Nurses Certified Nurse Midwives Physician Assistants Masters Level Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (or under supervision toward licensure) Clinical Psychologists (PhD or equivalent or under supervision toward licensure) Licensed Independent Clinical Social Workers (MA or PhD in Social Work or under supervision toward licensure) Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners Licensed Mental Health Counselors (or under supervision toward licensure) Marriage and Family Therapists (MA/PhD - major study in marriage and family therapy or under supervision toward licensure) Tier 3: Registered Dental Hygienists Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (or under supervision toward licensure) Primary Care Registered Nurses
- Award or benefit
- Contracts are awarded first to applicants who have secured a one-to-one match for each state dollar in the contract. This match can come from the eligible practice site or the community in which the applicant will practice. If an applicant is unable to secure a match, his/her application will be considered in competition with all other unmatched applications received. Tier 1: $75,000 for a minimum service obligation of 36 months with an opportunity of an extension for an additional 24 months at $40,000 Tier 2: $45,000 for a minimum service obligation of 36 months with an opportunity of an extension for an additional 24 months at $20,000 Tier 3: $30,000 for a minimum service obligation of 36 months with an opportunity of an extension for an additional 24 months at $10,000

Loan repayment assistance for private practice dentists working in approved areas of New Hampshire who agree to serve a minimum of 15% of Medicaid patients and commit to a state contract for 3 years.
- Who may qualify
- Eligible applicants are dentists (DMD or DDS) who are enrolled as a New Hampshire Medicaid provider and practice at a service site located in a Medicaid-defined priority area of New Hampshire.
- Award or benefit
- Up to $75,000 is available to eligible dentists over a 3 year contract. Awards are never larger than the outstanding loan balance.
